Our Sisterhood

Yours for a Lifetime

The Zeta Chapter of Phi Beta Chi at Texas A&M University has a rich history and a strong alumnae support base.  Our members support the core principals of our sorority and rely on the fact that we are "developing lifetime leaders to serve humanity through our sisterhood" as our vision statement announces.

We are not a Panhellenic sorority, but instead an intimate group of sisters.

The basis of our sisterhood is balanced on what we call the "Three C's".  These are Chapter (our sisterhood), Church (spiritual development) and Community (philanthropic activities).

â€‹There are opportunities for a variety of activities during each semester providing for a well rounded and close sisterhood.  Each semester we host multiple socials and service projects for our sisters to participate in to bond and serve our local community together.  One of the wonderful things about Phi Beta Chi nationally is that the National Executive Council supports each chapter and guides us to be the best we can be.  Within that guidance we are allowed flexibility to create memories and traditions that are special to our chapter, campus and community while still upholding the creed of Phi Beta Chi.

If you're interested in learning more about our sorority, just ask! We'd love to introduce you to our sorority and provide detailed information to assist you in making a more informed decision about potential sisterhood experiences. We thank you for your interest!

Philanthropy

Phi Beta Chi's national philanthropy is Ablelight, a faith based group homes for disabled adults. Zeta Chapter  has volunteered with them and done fundraisers in the past when they had Texas locations. Currently, the Zeta Chapter focuses on more local service projects so that we can get involved in and serve the College Station-Bryan community. Our projects change depending on what our members want to do but in the past we have done Crochet For A Cause, Lasagna's Of Love, Prayer Warriors, and many other fun projects to benefit our community.
